title：   Reading papers: Minimum Sample Risk Methods for Language Modeling

abstract：

         Recently I just study a new paper of Gao jianfeng, named “Minimum
Sample Risk Methods for Language Modeling”. This paper presents a complete
new method to build a language model. MSR principle is used to train the new
language model. Evaluated on Japanese IME system, the error rate is
effectively reduced. In this weekend session, I’m going to show Gao’s
techniques and discuss them with all of you.
