Ijebu Funebi Francis来自尼日利亚，于2020年9月作为博士研究生加入智能技术与自然语言处理实验室（ITNLP Lab）。在刘远超教授和孙承杰副教授的指导下，他开展了题为“Adapting Open Domain Question Answering Frameworks for Low-Resourced African Languages（基于开放域问答框架的低资源非洲语言问答技术研究）”的研究工作。该研究对现有的非洲语言问答模型进行了自适应改进，并提出了针对目标语言与英语的增强语义文本分析方法。这项研究产出了3篇SCI期刊论文，其中包括1篇ESI索引论文和2篇JCR 1区论文。

Ijebu Funebi Francis于 2026 年 3 月 6 日通过博士论文答辩。毕业后，他加入尼日利亚乌约大学（University of Uyo）计算学部，担任讲师和研究员。

Ijebu Funebi Francis is from Nigeria, he joined the Intelligent Technology and Natural Language Processing Laboratory (ITNLP Lab) as a doctoral student in September 2020. Under the supervision of Professor Yuanchao Liu and Associate Professor Chengjie Sun. He conducted research on the topic “Adapting Open Domain Question Answering Frameworks for Low-Resourced African Languages”. The research adaptively improved existing question answering models in African languages, and proposed methods for enhanced semantic textual analysis of target languages and English. The research produced three SCI journal publications, including 1 ESI and 2 JCR Q1 indexed articles.

Ijebu Funebi Francis successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on March 6, 2026. After graduation, he joins the department of Software Engineering as a Lecturer and Researcher in the Faculty of Computing, University of Uyo, Nigeria.
